rihanna is a very powerful singer and kudos to you for attempting it.

the oohs and yeahs between 15 nad 25 could be better

its very important to follow the diction while singing these kind of covers since it takes away a lot from the song otherwise.

do give more emphasis when you say “Please”

the phrase “cut it out” … do listen to the original once more its more of an extended “cuut it ouuut” kind of a style.

“sorry you got caught” near the 1 min mark could have been better

“show” had some pitching issues

the “ooo” near the 1:30 mark needs to definitely be redone

do let the words flow instead of cutting them short and lose the emphasis on words like “entertaining” and “take”, “applause” “standing ovation” etc.

The “yeah” near the 3:30 mark and the bow at 3:39
needs to be redone for sure.

i am huge rihanna fan so you will find a lot of feedback from me for this one. :)

Hey jenefa, i am a complete believer of not being a copy cat of the original singer, in fact many a time i have left comments for other singers giving kudos to them for not having imitated the original singer , but at the same time while singing western numbers, it is important to give that extra zing to the song. When the words are cut short, it gives the song a very indian feel to it. Again, i honor people opinions and gave my 2 cents in the hope that it would help but it is totally upto you to take it :)

if you love singing you just do it….you have a lovely voice. Since you asked for my feedback I will get into it a bit more. Haven’t heard the original, but I would recomend relaxing your throat, coming more from your diaphram, and less nasal. It would open up your vocals and round out the notes and be less pitchy. Take you time and play with the song a bit. Copying can only take you so far anyway. Keep up the good work, I look forward to more!

Jenefa! the only Rihannna song i dig a lot is “Umbrella”….seriously …. your voice texture and attitude is better than Rihanaa’s…. for one thing i sense truth in you… and secondly you are an entertainer from the word GO! Also there is lots of ++++ivity in you….and you got what it takes to swing a listener to a cheery mood…
