Though my Profession is Medicine, Music is my Passion! Music is in my Heart since my childhood, I have been singing in my heart all the time, know almost all songs of Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi from 1950s, Lyrics too, and Western too, not if complete. I used to sing myself and was much scared to sing in front of others and always request my friends to sing for me. I used to wonder how Lataji, Ashaji, Janakiamma, Susheelamma, Chithra, Sujatha sing so sweetly and melodeously! At this late age all on a sudden I felt that I too can sing if I take a hard effort to learn Carnatic Vocal. I joined the ‘Indian Institute of Performing Arts’ in Bahrain as I am working here. I studied ‘Carnatic’ under Mrs Lalitha Ambilikuttan, wife of Mr Ambilikuttan, who is a great singer and Director of the Institute, for 4years, which I had to discontinue due to my duties. Now I plan to continue my classes. At present my only Passion is Singing and Recording, not only mine, my friends’ too. I have only very little time left to Record all songs I know. I dont expect me to be a ‘Perfect’ singer, but to contribute in the ‘Music World’, to leave something behind to remind me in this World. Music is my Medicine for my Body and Soul, which keeps me healthy and young at Heart.
