Actually I am in disbelief here- about what a fine singer you are! I am aware of the issues you have with time available to record and your tiff with Audacity! But you have done a stellar job with this tough song! I suspect that this is a one-take recording and am amazed at the way you have handled some nuances. Feel was brillaint! I know you love Kamal as a singer and perhaps have a voice texture similar to early-days-Kamal. But you have a unique voice that resembles no one in the industry (No sorry, not Ramesh Vinayagam for sure, or Deepan Chakravarthy either :D) Just a couple of things which could be improved:

• Slight pitch deviations at places (eg. return to pallavi after Charanam 2)
• Track volume being too loud- vocals could be louder to make the words clearly audible.

Please do take singing seriously (as also the mixing hehe)! You will certainly go places! :)

I will listen to the original sooner…but must admit you have imbibed the feel so brilliantly and i guess Kamal being your idol of worship the feel is just natural…:) most kamal fans have that corner that springs up with the emotions and feel that tie anything up in a knot.
