Jaydeep is a guy of 23 nourished by Indian melodies but experiences music of the world. He believes there’s no end of learning…… thus, wants to learn music throughout his life. His last wish would be the ability to sing.

Being brought up in a little town of West Bengal Jaydeep got easily the difference of lives in a big city and a small town. He always likes to study urban areas thus he achieved a certificate in Urban Management and Planning from the University of Calcutta. His first degree was in Geography. Now JAYDEEP studying another interesting area called ‘sustainability’ and CSR together in a degree named Msc Sustainability and Management at Royal Holloway University of London.

Jaydeep is always passionate about his first love – Music. he can’t remind the age of his initial singing as it has already entered in his blood. He got a place in the wonderful training of the living legend of Tagore songs, SMT. MAYA SEN at an early age. Its almost 9 years he’s trying to keep Maya Di’s lessons. He is always thankful to all his gurus like Padma Das, Prof. Anil Ranjan Guha & Sri Sanjit Sarkar. Sanjit played a big role to make strong Jaydeep’s listening power of music. He’s the one who raised Jaydeep’s interests in Classical Music. Now his current guru Sri Samiran Chatterjee is teaching him with extreme care.

Jaydeep’s life in the UK could not stop him to sing, though the scope to do rewaj has decreased. Jaydeep has gone through success as well as failures in this short span of life. One of the most recent and memorable success is getting the second position in the prestigious All India Radio Music Competition 2009 in Ghazal where he represented Kolkata AIR. Now he has been awarded the “B” grade at All India Radio.
