Venus Power ( Original Composition by SUBHA)
Venus Power ( Original Com... Lyrics & Chords
I got inspired by a black supermodel of LA origin when I penned this track. There is an air of funkiness, acid rock and ambiance.
Choosing a song title became a daunting task. Finally we decided to call the song – Venus Power.
Woman’s rights or the divine femininity have come a long way in the last 100 years.
Venus represents beauty, ambition, love, peace, affection and very essence of life.
Without Venus we men (Mars) would not exist.
Hence the song Venus Power which recognizes the Power and Charm, and bewitching power they possess over Mars.
This is part of my upcoming music album: GOLDEN LIGHTS to be released in Fall 2009.

Thank you for your comments. Music arrangement is a long laborious process. The first step is to build and program your style (rhythm section) and the accompanying instruments that needs to be automated.
Then choosing the right sounds takes time. In a case where you have a Music workstation with 1000s of sounds to choose from, not to mention the additional ability to synthesize sounds by tweaking oscillators and waveforms (which I have not yet ventured into) you can imagine the work involved.
I do start off with a vision as what sounds I need for a particular song. Then the process of iterations and listening to your song over and over again, making incremental changes until you feel… and say Aah… that’s it.
I am still discovering sounds (instruments) which I never heard before.
Once again thank you, and I will be posting another song from my new album in a few days.

Hi Subha,
Very honestly I cannot pass a critical comment on songs of this genre since I really do not know anything about them. As a primarily indian music listener where the lead melody rules or mars the listener’s vision I feel helpless to connect to a funky genre.
That said I did like the sop-start at 3:02. In fact I like the music much more after the stop. In my view it could potentially be a good intro for an indian film song.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the message.
