Jane… superb… absolutely superb… not an easy song… Managing the pitch is a difficult task in this… So many modulations… Sustenance also have a different approach in this song since the Arabic style. You have done an absolutely nice job… I have heard this song sung by so many on stage. But your voice culture is really different and impressive… keep up the good work… as you said the k-track has problems but no worries… your voice has done the magic… 5/5 truly great singing… Great

There are so many such interesting trivia swiveling in the air about many Rahman’s compositions. Very good and bold singing. Nice attitude. Performed effortlessly. Kudos. Keep singing.

Very nice singing Jane. Awesome energy n great rendition! Sum places (like lines following mayya mayya) sounded a bit nasal to me. Some more voice modulations, say thinning the voice here n thr wud hv suited arabic style better for the song I guess, I know easy to say, hard to implement, still cudnt stop saying:)!

I laud your terrific voice modulations and also the huge effort you have put in covering this song Jane. There are many portions which were beautifully delivered like the “aree…ehey ehey ehey” towards the end. But yes this being a very difficult song, you have slipped in many places as well. If you have the time and energy to re-do with a better k-trk (that kuhoo has offered to help with) please do. People like me who follow your work regularly would really be happy to listen to you in much more clear mix also. IF you are in India, it does not cost you much at all to record in a studio. You must try it sometime.

wo-o-ohh… wot singing….!!loved that typical arabic accent n attitude… BTW did you do the talking part too? (mai seene me teri saasei bhar leti hu)…? From start to end mindblowing!!

Somehow vocals seemed a bit over processed to me, they could’ve come out a bit brighter… Maybe it’s been done on purpose to cope up with the poor quality track…

5 stars for this one, and hope you can get hold of a better k-track and redo this sometime!! You rock girl :)
