After “Ye Dooriyaan”, here’s my attempt at another recent hit by Mohit Chauhan from the movie New York.
The anguish of a relationship which could have been but was not meant to be has been brought out aptly depicting the sorrow and longingness……… Very well presented on screen by Neil Nitin and Katrina.

nice one Harry……think the vocal levels need to be a bit higher in the mix……occasional flat notes…….but very nice harmonies and chorus……enjoyed listening to this.

Good song pick Harry, suits ur voice perfectly….
Good expressions is ur forte and you did good justice to this soulful composition……Juts take care of the the minor off, especially in the mukhda of the song and some in the antaras and you will soon have a perfect rendition….
Also the mix could have been better as it sounds a bit muffled to me……But still its a sure 5/5:)

Subra-I will have a look at the mix and those flat notes and try doing those parts.
Rahul-Never attempted any of MC songs till you suggested me to do so. Now I am trying MC numbers (BTW he is my current favourite)….so a big thanks to you. The new mix is on the way with a couple of redone notes. Thnaks for your 5.

you beat me to this song !! This song has been on a loop in my car for a long time now . Beautiful song . I really love the lyrics! You have put in a good effort and have maintained the mood of the song well . Quite a few places need improvement in pitching . One other thing u can improve upon is clarity of words. Overall it was a good effort. Keep singing :)

Good job, Harry bro…. great emotions and nice flow…. mix mein aap thoda aur clarity laa dijiye so that the words come out a bit more clearer…. maybe reverb thoda sa kam karne se ho jayega…. but otherwise, great piece of work…. pitching improvement areas have already been pointed out…. overall, a nice product :)

This has come out quite well Harry. Expressions were good……Mix was better than the others. However pitch still needs to improve. You should probably practice holding notes. Maybe spened half an hr a day or something. I think that will help. But I do feel you are getting better. Good luck! 5/5 for the attempt and for the improvement.
