A song that I wanted to cover for a long time but could not due to non-availability of the track. Don’t know much about the movie however, the song “Soniyo” with 2 different versions sung by Sonu Nigam and Krishna was quite popular.
Covering Sonu’s version on a lower scale than the original.

Dear Harry yar ye geet pehli bar tumse he sun raha hoon. Sirif mukhda subdued laga laikin anatare main tumne poori kasar nikal di. Tone se ziada main tumhari harkaton ko sun raha thaa. It was very honest of you to mention the scale change but you know its OK….sing where ever you feel comfortable. You come first when it comes to enjoying a song and singing it. Keep it up.

To all friends – Just to clarify, I did not change the pitch of the track however, noticed that the track was lower pitch than the original and therefore mentioned in my introduction. I have heard many other covers as well, including some covered by pro singers and they all have used the same pitch as mine.

Harry bhai, this is a great song selection. The song felt a bit different due to the lower key and some changes you made, but overall a pleasant experience. Sonu does put a little extra mustard on his singing and it is bit strange to mimic that so I liked your own interpretation.

Rajeev – Thanks for liking. Sonu has off late been putting some extra vibratos on landing notes which to me sounds bit excessive. That is the reason, I personally like another version of the song sung by Krishna which I find more soulful.
