Rasbhari Awaaz bahut dino ke baad suni, Mann prasann ho gaya. Harish ji, you sang one of my favorite with a wonderful feel and voice quality.
However, I have see a couple of issues here. First Track although good quality has killed the seriousness of the song. The percussion beat is taking away that feel. The instrumentation used by Raushan Saab was so touching. I understand it is outside your control because of track, but I thought to share my thought.
Second I was expecting more expressions at Jatan and Sang (A little more elongation). But still I enjoyed your back door entry, all gates are open for you, so we will welcome you from all doors ;-)

@Saroj, thank you! Yes, I has stopped posting simply because I felt unless I take some time out to listen to my friends songs here, I don’t have a moral right to post. Now that the WC is over I am planning to listen to 10 songs per day and clear the backlog.
@Azam bhai, thanks for the great feedback. You are right about the lack of energy aspect. I generally get this feedback abt lack of energy/punch. Whenever I tried to inject more energy into my songs, it has been at the cost of other parameters like emotions, rhythm, etc. So I am hoping over a period of time, it will sort itself out.

Then I came across this track from makemykaraoke.com. Paid $4 and bought it. I think the music at the beginning and ending is cut, I have written to them, and let’s see what they do about it.

Thanks Harshan! Good observation about the track being faster. Actually it isn’t. Or rather it was 2% faster and I corrected that. Just that it sounds faster. As Harry pointed out, the track is not exactly in the original spirit of the song. I think pitching comes as easy to me as the timing doesn’t. I have been struggling to get the timing right here for the last 2-3 years. Those things that one doesn’t get ‘naturally’, it takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to get through the artificial channel :)

Bhai sunnay tu kisi aur ka aaya thaa laikin iss geet ko dekh kar yehan bhi chala aaya. Napi tulli, saaf suthri aur simple andaz main gaeyki karte ho achha laga. jitni zaroorat thi mirch masala dalne ki utna dala tumne….uss se ziada over lagta. Jis jagha Saxena Sahab ne zikr kiya mujhe bhi ussi jagha unki tarha mehsoos hua….koi mushkil bhi na thaa laikin phir bhi achha laga….at least aik consistency maintain rakhi poore geet main aapne.
