Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe Lyrics & Chords
In the fast world of SMS, emails and chats, the art of writing a ‘khat’ is long forgotten. Here is one with ‘hazaar rang’ in it. Penned by Neeraj for the 1968 film Kanyadaan and sung by my favorite singer Mohd. Rafi and composed by my favorite music directors Shankar-Jaikishan.
After my last upload (Rang aur Noor),looking at my mixing skills or rather the lack of it, two kind souls – Harry Jassal and Harshan – offered to remix the vocals to enhance it for me. I am not a ‘pro’ member, and since I did not want to lose all the important comments and feedback my friends here have given on it, I decided to use their services for future projects.
This song has been enriched by the audio engineering skills of Harry Jesal, who did it in just 2 hours of me sending him the tracks. Thanks Harry!
Hope you enjoy this happy song, before I go back to my comfort zone of ‘rona-dhona’ songs ;)

thanks to your post Sudha, I am finally drafting this very long overdue post of thanking all well wishers. Actually last week was a bit busy, and on Muziboo, I have been giving priority to listen to and comment on other singers uploads (rightly or wrongly) instead of this post.
i really wanted to upload a song yesterday and also start my musical blog. 31st July is an important day for Rafisaab’s fans! So I recorded a couple of songs on Friday, but they turned out to be so bad, I simply deleted them. I then realised the love and support this community has given me, it helps me to push myself harder, and helps me to give nothing but my best possible output. Thank you Muziboo and friends!

This is my first post responding to your song. I am new to Muziboo….was just searching for songs that I like and curious to know and hear how my fellow Rafi fans have sung…. Fantastic…. I loved your singing which appeared quite effortless for a song that is high in pitch and is demanding in terms of speed and precision….Just one helpful feed back I hope…the sustaining of “likhe jo khat tujhe” at the end of each antra , for instance after “jawan jadoo ye diwana” can be perfected . But I can see your love for Rafi shine through in your singing…. keep it up.Cheers.
