This song is my tribute to all Kishoreda fans here at Muziboo…As I am not well versed with the nuances of Kishoreda’s singing style, I hope I will be ‘maafed’ :)
I love the music of this song too, it is so hauntingly beautiful. I wonder why Kishoreda did not compose music for more films!
In this rendition, I was hugely helped by Thinkal sir’s rendition of this song that he uploaded a few days back. Without it, this would have had many embarrassing technical mistakes ;) Thank you Thinkal sir.

Harish bhai ….I just love this haunting melody. Kishoreda’s composition and singing ….there are some real gems out there. Honestly speaking I am pleasantly surprised to hear this in your voice, very well sung….you really connected with the song and got most of the details of the song right even though you rendered it in your style. In fact I would rate this as one of your top uploads….sorry Rafi fan :-) goes to my favs.

I am lost for words. your self-effacing humility is legendary, and we can only aspire to be like you. Yes, I agree that I have sung this song in the original mood, but I liked your song very much because I thought it was sung in rafi saab’s style!

mohammed raffi fan singing a kishore da song….and i can feel the. the mohd rafi sab’s presence in your singing….bhai you know my idol is rafi sab…and why am not attempting rafi sabs songs…is ….just becos i cant sing it…hes sabs voice. is 90/100 when he sings lowr notes and highet notes. thats. equally in high and low and while rest of hte singers is 40 and 60 …….hats off to you bhai

@Babu, glad to know your idol is rafisaab! you can feel rafi saab’s presence in this song? then i have failed to debar him from entering here :)
I am surprised to note that you find it difficult to sing rafi saab’s songs. for me, they are the easiest. i find all the others tough. For this kishoreda song, i made 20-25 attempts. and i don’t make more than 2-3 attempts for any rafi saab’s song. If you can ‘farmaish’ a tough rafi saab song, i’ll try to sing it.
