Midas is one of the best music companies that cater to wannabee singers. Their quality is very good and they have a good collection of Karaoke CDs too.

Aniruddh’s quality is also good, but they are very expensive. Many of Aniruddh’s tracks are taken from Midas, so before you buy from Aniruddh, just check if you have the Midas version, and the Aniruddh version is not same.

Sagarika is also another very good company that has some quality Karaoke CDs. But the problem is they have a very limited collection.

Nupur and Vale Entertainment are other companies. Nupur is OK, but personally I don’t like Vale Karaoke. Though the recording quality is 5/5, the problem is that most of their Karaoke CDs (especially Rafisaab’s) sound more like instrumental, with the guiding instrument becoming more of a nuisance and irritant while singing.

The mainstream music companies like RPG, Tips, Venus too have come up with a few Karaoke CDs, which are also very good.

I think one of the oldest companies to come out with Karaoke tracks is Audio-Vision. They are ok. Though once I bought their Talat mahmood Karaoke, and the music sounded so ‘disco ish’ that I had to throw that CD into the dustbin!

makemykaraoke.com is another site for karaoke. personally i have no experience with their quality, but @ $1.49 per track, they are damn expensive!
