Self-taught guitar player….can do….rhythm-bass-lead, from James taylor to bebop jazz or just finger-trip while exploring new sounds….Can’t read a note ;) gotta rely on those ears. My busking style….playing a combo of bass, rhythm & lead together, & don’t care about chord names & other regimental stuff. Couldn’t be bothered with technicalities……I just enjoy playing anytime, anyplace. A bassist at heart & yup, I do sing occassionally. Have gigged with a jazz outfit during a stint in Oman…was a lotta fun out there. Out here, I’ve jammed with friends at Opus, social dos & behind closed doors lol. Wish I had more time to ;(. My fav musicians – Pat metheny (amazingly versatile & melodic), Jaco (bass legend), Jimmy Haslip (fluid bass-lines & great tones), Russell ferrante (keyboardist with a soul), Billy joel (honest piano man), Tierney Sutton (unique timbre), Richard Bona (inspiring bassist…african textures), James taylor (unique finger-style) & his bro – Livingston, Michael franks (wonderful singer, arranger & lyricist), New York Voices (mind blowing jazz harmonies, very tight) Well, enuff about me. Am looking for like minded aficionados to talk music & jam wid……. ;)

ELECTRIC BASS – Fender Jazz Bass, used with a KORG AX-3B processor….I’ve re-programmed it to get some amazing Jazz Bass tones. Even thinking of turning my bass into a fretless……love the sound & feel. I use a Marshall Bass Amp.
ELECTRIC GUITAR – A 25 year old vintage ARIA semi-accoustic….crisp sounding…
Acoustic – Classical ‘CIMAR’ nylon string….my first ‘Decent’ guitar.
