Sinfonia from Suite No.1 last movement-New richer version

Sinfonia from Suite No.1 la... Lyrics & Chords

From Suite No. 1: On the Departure of my Beloved Brother. First written for piano and performed by me in 1975 at the Ewart Memorial Hall in Cairo, then rewritten for orchestra in 1998 and, again, in 2002. This is the newest version. The strings close the musical in a passionate but submissive tone with seven different string levels, cellos and counter-base. It is a clip from the seven minutes finale of the suite

Very sober, but nonetheless moving.

I thought you’d end on a minor chord, but the actual last chord gave a nice sense of closure with it.

Yay you! =))

Hi Tito

How refershing to read your note. Yes it is a truly sober and somber mood and does end with a hopeful major chord. I was 21 when I lost my baby brother and wrote and played it for him in 1975. Thank you so much. You may want to know about my other music inventions and writing skills, www.filmmusicmontreal.com. Let me know if you are in music or novel writing. I will listen to your song and keep you posted.

Take care and God bless
