When the family of Michel Trudeau lost him to an avalanche in Canada’s Rockies, there was a long search and rescue operation ordered by the Prime Minister of Canada, Jean Chretien. Everyone’s hopes rose but the search was called-off a few days later and he was declared victim of the avalanche. I wrote this song for him and his family based on previous life experience. He was only twenty. 2003
