Eddie Brown a.k.a. E-CLASS, a.k.a. J.R. Ewing, a.k.a. Mr.E Dash C is one of if not the most talented artists to come out of the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex since D.O.C. E-CLASS was born in Salt Lake City, Utah February 26th, 1982 and moved to Dallas at the age of 2. E-CLASS is the youngest of 5 children born to Eddie and Elsie Brown. After attending Dallas Independent School District institutions for 16 years, E-CLASS graduated from David W. Carter High School’s Class of 2000 and decided to continue his education at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas where he would major in Business Administration and minor in Communications, specializing in Radio Broadcast Journalism. Within a year of moving to Houston, E-CLASS began to feature on mix tapes hosted by Dallas native D.J Hi-C’s (C.E.O of the GO DJ’s) and was offered his first professional recording deal by a company called Avarice Entertainment in Davis, California. At 19, E-Class and C.E.O of Avarice Entertainment, Ronald Chandra, mutually agreed to part ways and E-CLASS returned to Houston to be reunited with D.J. Hi-C where they wrote and composed the street anthem entitled “Da Hooka” which took the Southern region by storm. After a numerous amount of shows, and firsthand experience in the music industry, E-CLASS decided to start his own independent label called Makin’ Moves Entertainment. when his song,”Bobblehead” was added to rotation in Dallas radio, and nightclubs in the Southern Region of the United States. In 2005, E-CLASS was signed by T.Farris and G.Dash to join the Swisha House family. He spent 3 years under the label and was signed to Universal Motown. In January, he walked away from his major deal to pursue his independent career and is considered as a major factor in the music industry. E-CLASS has featured on hundreds of mix tapes since his independent debut and continues to hold it down on the underground for the City of Dallas and the State of Texas. He is now considered to be one of the hottest and most anticipated artists the Dirty South has to offer and is sure to change the game upon the release of his mixtapes,”I Am The D,” “Real Talk,” and his album,” First Class.” Not only is E-CLASS a talented artist, but he’s an all around business man. When he’s not on stage or in the studio, he promotes Dallas area nightclubs and is preparing to launch his own J.R. Ewing Collection Clothing Line.
