This song, originally sung by velvet voiced Talat Mehmood sahab is one of the most popular numbers by him. I also liked original very much but ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh sahab sang it in his album “CLOSE TO MY HEART”(2003) and I fell in love with it. I am not sure how others who love originals only, will react to this version which has been totally transformed into something very peppy by the legendary singer. Modern instruments with western beats made it a good listen to me….
The karaoke track has been prepared by me by Vocal cutting method….this track is not available anywhere otherwise….

I had only heard this in Talat sahab’s voice. This is definitely a very modern spin to the song. Sounded very good and the music track is awesome too! I think this will be the way of the future – use the incredible lyrics and redo the masterpieces with new instruments, better instruments and much better recording.
Great effort in creating the track. Didn’t feel like a voice-cut anywhere.

Jagjit Singh Ji ka version nahi suna tha Dr. Sahab par Talat Sahab ka sune bhi shayad bahot waqt hua hoga….Aapne bahot hi achha gaaya hai….Dil se nibhaya hai….I liked it lot….Congrats to fav….Aapki awaz me sunkar bahot achha laga….Keep it up….Thanks for sharing….
