This eternal song is my TOP fav of Kishoreda….sung by the legendary singer in a style which is almost impossible to imitate,this number was creation of Late Anand Bakshi-R D Burman da ream for this classic movie. It was picturised on Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore. The hero, a rich man shunned by his party hopper wife, is trying to console leading lady who is pushed into prostitution in Kolkata by his village mentor and is facing ridicule of people passing by….

Your voice resembles that of MukeshJi’s.
Excellent feelings, and knowledge of sur/taal/rhythm. Soothing voice. Liked the way you added a slight hint of reverb instead of overpowering it.
Quick suggestion: projection of the murkhiyan needs some work (examples: “baaton mein”, “beet na ja-a-a-a-ye, raina-a-a-a”, etc.).
