My PC provides ALL I need. Have used Playstations ,Judge JULES MUSIC and MUSIC 2000. to write too. Other weapons in my arsenal are MAGIX, Cubase and Fruity Loops. Started with a Karaoke machine and 2 Pre Midi keyboards, Casio MTs,. Would Tape the base and rhythm, Record and then play with the taped rhythm section with each layer one by one until I had a finished track. I cannot Songwrite using Bars and notes and such but play by ear,.
It’s a little difficult as I can only get one ear at a time on the keyboard,.
(Chords are a “Bitch” I can tell you.,.LOL)
Later discovered Octamed on the Amiga 1200 and have been hooked on multi trackers ever since.
