For the last serveral months I have felt so much at peace that, if peace and tranquility were a tangible thing, I have been wrapped up in it as though it were a blanket. This musical composition was born out of this state of being. Playing a keyboard at my uncle’s house, I stopped and was chatting w/some people and out of no where played out the frist 6 or 8 measures of this piece as though I had always known it. After getting home, it took me all of 20-30 minutes to complete the two main keyboard sections. The rest took me about a week to get the right accompaniment to sound just the way I liked it.
It was a blast to compose and is already one of my most favorite compostitions.
The only thing left to do is to compose and record the classical 12-string guitar…. until then, it is finished.
