rOOPuthera mASThana .. pYAARumera dEEwaana .. Cover by Arvind!
rOOPuthera mASThana .. pYAA... Lyrics & Chords
Recorded today this funky and racy Hindi number that should be well known to every music lover, from the movie Aaradhana.
I enjoyed singing this classic Kishore da song … albeit in the way that came out of me!!.
I suppose this is one song that singers can enjoy rendering in their own style as the tune is so well accepted!. I hope I did justice to the original though!.
I slowed down the track pace a bit to match the original cinema … such numbers often get speeded up in subsequent versions but I liked the slightly held up pace as it was more enjoyable singing that way.
Hope you like it and please leave your comments freely. Thanks my dear music lovers!.

Arvind…one of kishoreda’s most popular song. You started off very well being loyal to the original composition :-) However towards the end ……the extra variations didnt go well in perspective of the original composition….it lost its passion…again its just me…….but I liked some of your variation like the crack of the voice….overall a very good attempt….loved it. Diction issues here and there will go away with more hindi……so keep them coming :)

Thanks heaps to all of you above for your appreciative comments and encouragement.
Yes Hindi is not my native language and obviously I would have some issues there. Will try to get better by taking advice. In fact I have a desire to learn the Hindi spoken language which I hope I will achieve to some extent one day with some help obviously.
I did get a bit carried away with this song as I did enjoy singing it and my apologies for those of you that found it to vary from the original inappropriately in places. I guess I thought it was a racy song so I just added a bit of masala on account of expression … may be misplaced in places!. Also I felt the way I sang “Ho Jaye” did not sound entirely right … I may be hitting the wrong note there or something …! :-)
But I am very pleased to get your positive feedback on this one and encouraged to sing more. Thanks to all my friends here. Sorry if I have not mentioned each one of you by name as I wanted this to be not too long. Cheers.

Super singing and in your own style…redenering the giant’s song…definetly felt you enjoyed it as you sang it and the emotes were….spawned by your own self…‘hamko zaamana’ and lines…enjoyed it….you are one classic singer who can afford to it .and ‘vocal fry…aaa nice’
Liked the end…

This is surely SPB version of the song due to the impact SPB has created to the south indians…… Beautiful rendition…. I enjoyed thoroughly….
