Hi guys,
Had this song in the pipeline for ages and left it as was not happy earlier and deleted it … finally got around to getting it to a decent level to upload I think. Still no way I am totally happy with it. Finally my snail pace of uploading gets here!.
This song is from the movie Agni Saatchi and the song is about a mentally affected heroine who the singer is in love with (I think I am right?).
SPB, a world on to himself, emotes this song beautifully and although I tried to capture the mood, some of his nuances are his own and hard to catch. So as usual yours truly does his own thing here and there! Hopefully bearable!.
There is a monologue poetry bit in the middle that I carried out myself … it is actually the heroine saying it (female voice of course!!) but here I have said it on her behalf!.
There are two very good actors in this movie namely Sivakumar and Saritha who both feature in this song of course, set to Ilayaraja’s magic.

Arvind…this tune seems somewhat familiar like a Malayalam tune….could be wrong.
Nice to see you back with a bang. Great singing though not familiar with the original, also your voice is beautifully projected in the mix with that pleasant tone which you have maintained all through out this song. Glad to see you inching towards your half century:-) A different genre of song which you have attempted….not one of your typical selections I must say……loved it bro !!

Aravind… You were superb…!!!!I still feel you could have been better… Some sangatis like “Mayam neeyo”, “etri vaithal koode”, “Kaayam enna” etc., need more perfection…But overall your voice sounded exactly like that of SPB… Enjoyed a lot….!!!!

Good pick Arvind, not an easy one by any means. Thought it was a very good attempt from you. The softness you brought to this song was very refreshing and appropriate. The nuances can certainly be delivered with more clarity and that will also improve the flow in those spots. Well sung overall.

Thanks Kumaran, I think I had the MD as Ilayaraja rather than MSV. Sorry guys, I just changed it!. Somehow got the wrong info!. Most of you have noted that voice is good in the mix, which at least is a pleasant surprise to me!. I did not do anything special … shows how mysterious a job mixing really is!.
