Trying to do KK is a tall order. He has the most powerful yet smooth-as-silk voice in the industry! Only one of its kind. Having said that, you have done a decent job. You’ve got a good voice. But certainly there are some minor offnotes here and there. And the projection of the song has to be much bigger (imagine yourself singing to 50,000 people in a stadium). The chorus part (O meri jaan) can be enhanced with few more layers of vocals with harmony and chorus singing. That shouldn’t feel weak.
But otherwise, khub bhalo :) I liked it.

Anirbaan….I also love this song….very nice rendition, throw and modulations. Yes there were some minor glitch….e.g the first dil when you started was a tad off….but this are some minor points …overall you have done this very well. If you give the same vocals to a professional studio …they will make it sound as if you are performing in front of 50,000….its all mixing technicalities. Even KK will not be able to reproduce this song on stage as its in the original….hum dono kk fan hai…but I LOVE the old KK.

Wow, Anirban……Lovely voice texture in the lower portions. The higher notes fell flat a bit because of the range of the song but nevertheless, it was done very well. Not a easy song to sing and u did very well overall. Loved it.
