Harshan Sir, I thought of the same today. Awaiting for the “mood” You know…… but it is planned. Thanks a lot. Glad I brought back memories. A top fav here as well, but You know, songs one loves and people one worships can never have the best from the self, seems a law of nature. Still feel I could have given more to this Ghazal, like in those relations of love or friendship where one does not know where the “giving” “borders” are.

This is one of the highest level songs used for a Bollywood film. The poetry, the melody and the way Lata Ji transformed it into making an immortal song. My Salute to your Mentor Ji and You for braving to attempt such a classic and doing it so gracefully. How did 4:29 passed? Don’t know and can’t explain. Simply lovely singing and thank you for presenting such a gem. Do you really don’t understand Urdu? Hard to imagine unless you’ve put in serious hours.

Naqvi Sahab, agree, this is definitely one of the highest leveled songs ever written and sung. My effort is the result of hours of work, from diction, to singing and mixing and although it sounds strange, one can be proud even of slite pitches in such songs. It has definitely been an exercise of patience my co-team and me have proudly fulfilled. The lyrics have been translated for me to be able to get the expressions and the feel of the song. But in the next two months I will follow Urdu classes and classical training, for little basics.
