Stand by Me..(Drifters and ... Lyrics & Chords

I HAVE BEEN wanting to a cover to take a break
from composing but this was just as hard as…
seeing that i have no music to go by , this is
soley from memory and figuring chords out…

One of my favorites from the late 50 s and
60 s. Ben king was the lead singer of the drifters originally . and then came out with
this solo song. which i think has been featured
in several movies. cant recall though.

This took about an hour to figure out by trial
and error and playing the song in my head as
i took several takes on this .at about 2. 30 or
less there is a slight slip of the finger .
but i dont think it s that noticeable. and for
one little glitch i called it a day on this.

Now if anyone want s to try vocal s on this
the door is always open so hope u like this
